Special Janmashtami Vogh.
"Janmashtami" is the great festival of India. We Indians celebrate Lord Krishna's birthday during this day and make "Special Janmashtami Vogh". We all give different types of food in front of Krishna God's statue. There are various types of sweet items we present for him. Here are some dishes picture below which I have present for our lord Krishna.
ON THE PLATE
- Khichuri vogh. ( Int he center of the plate)
- Brinjal fry.
- Pumpkin fry.(anti-clockwise)
- Kakrol fry.
- Potato fry.
- Pointed gourd fry / Potol Vaja.
- Papad.
- Sandesh ( one type of dry sweet)
- Amritti ( one type of sweet).
IN THE BOWLS (From left)
- Mixed vegetable curry.
- Sweet tomato chutney.
- Sweet milk rice / Payesh.
- Roshogolla. ( Famous Bengali sweet).
