Chingri Macher Malaikari Recipe.

                                              prawn ( Chingri ) is a very delicious water insect. We eat this as fish and cook in very different ways. Today we will try to make an authentic Bengali cuisine, " Chingri Macher Malaikari ". it is basically a creamy prawn curry made by coconut paste and coconut milk. and serve with hot steam rice.  Let's see what is the recipe of  " Chingri Macher Malaikari ".

  • Cooking time 20 to 30 minutes.

  • For 3 peoples.    
Ingredients
  1.  Medium size prawn ( 300gms )
  2. Desiccated coconut powder ( 200 gms )
  3. 1 tablespoon of white mustard seed.
  4. 2 tablespoons of a poppy seed.
  5. 3 green chilies.
  6. Salt 
  7. Turmeric powder.
  8. 3 tablespoons of mustard oil.
Let's start the Preparation
  1.  At first, Make a fine paste of white mustard seed and poppy seed.
  2. Next, make a smooth paste of desiccated coconut powder and 3 green chilies. 
  3. Marinate the prawn with a pinch of salt and turmeric powder.
Let's cook 
  1. Take a saucepan to add 2 tablespoons of mustard oil when the oil is hot enough, fry all the prawn till it became orangeish in color.
  2. Then add the two smooth paste and mix them with the prawn.
  3. After 2 to 3 minutes of a continuous stir, add 1/2 cup of water. mix well and cover it till the gravy became thick.
  4. Uncover the saucepan and spread 1 tablespoon of mustard oil top of the curry.
               Here is your " Chingri Macher Malaikari " is ready to serve with hot steam rice.
