Soya Chunks Pulao

Ingredients we need
- Rice ( 500 gms )
- 3 tablespoons of Ghee.
- Soya chunks ( 200 gms )
- Thick Yogurt (25 gms )
- 2 onions
- 1 tomato
- 2 green chilies.
- 1 tablespoon of red chili powder.
- 2 black cardamoms, 3 green cardamoms, 3 to 4 cloves, 1-inch cinnamon stick. 2 bay leaves. ( Whole masalas).
- Readymade Biriani masala.
- White oil.
- Salt.
Preparation
- Soak the Rice into the water for about 30 minutes.
- Soak the soya chunks into hot water for 10 to 15 minutes. then drains the water and carefully squeeze all water from Soya chunks. Shift them into big boul for marination.
- Now add 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of Biriani masala, and finally add the yogurt. Mix them all with hand and keed it for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, chop the onions and tomatoes.
Cooking Method
- Step-1
Cook the soaked rice. don't forget to add a pinch of salt in it. After boiling drains the water and keep the rice aside.
2. Step-2
Take a saucepan to add 3 tablespoons of Ghee and 1 tablespoon of white oil. wait for the oil to be hot enough, then add the whole masalas. Stir them till a nice aroma coming out.
Now add the chopped onion and fry them till it became golden brown them add the Chopped tomatoes and cook it for 5 minutes. then add salt to taste and 2 green chilies finely add the marinated soya chunks and cook for another five minutes.
3. Step-3
The final step is to add the boiled rice and mix them with all the masala and please check the salt in this stage. Add 1 tablespoon of Biriani masala give them a quick stir and turn the flame off. Your " Soya Chunks Pulao " is ready.
